The Iwata Custom Micron Takumi is a precision side-feed airbrush for experienced artists who want exceptional responsiveness, balance, and control at very small spray scales.

It combines the hand-tuned precision of Iwata’s Custom Micron platform with a shorter, redesigned body that brings the artist closer to the work. The gravity-assisted side-feed cup improves paint flow and can be positioned for either right- or left-handed use. Its two-piece 0.24 oz / 7 ml cup comes apart for easier cleaning, and the siphon-cut lid is designed to reduce paint buildup around the cup.

At the front, the Takumi uses Iwata’s C1 head system for extreme-detail through medium-scale spraying. Custom Micron head systems are matched and hand-tuned to Iwata’s precision standards, making this airbrush especially suited to photorealism, portrait work, illustration, fine art, and other demanding detail applications.
